Option 1: Recall check in the Barryvox app
The recall check in the Barryvox app guides you step by step through all required checks, including:
- Checking the serial number
- Checking the battery compartment for the green dot
At the end, the app clearly shows whether your device is affected or not.
This is the fastest and most user-friendly option.
Option 2: Check directly on the device
Check the serial number
Open the battery compartment and read the serial number on the label.
- Serial number does not start with 24 (e.g. 25) → Your device is not affected.
Serial number starts with 24
Additionally check the battery compartment:
- Green dot present → Your device is not affected.
- No green dot present → Your device is affected by the recall and should be sent in.
