We recommend having your Barryvox® inspected every 3 years.

Ideally, you should check your device at the end of the snow season and send it to us for maintenance or repair during our quieter season from May to August.
This helps us ensure that your Barryvox® is ready for use again in time for the next winter season.

If you need a service inspection, repair or support with firmware or software issues, please contact us via our Warranty & Repair form online.

Please don't forget to attach the following photos to your form:
- Photo of the damage
- Photo of the device
- Photo of the sticker with the serial number in the battery compartment (below the barcode - the number in the middle of the label)

As soon as we have received your request, we will get back to you as quickly as possible with the next steps for shipping and the further process.

The current processing time is 2 to 4 weeks after the device has arrived with us. You will be notified as soon as your Barryvox® has arrived at our service centre and will receive further status updates.

Costs

  • Repairs covered by the warranty are free of charge.
  • Repairs outside the warranty are charged at GBP 35.00 plus shipping costs.
  • Service checks are charged at GBP 35.00 plus shipping costs – even within the warranty period.

Warranty information

The Barryvox® (excluding batteries, carrying system and lanyard) comes with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase stated on the proof of purchase.

If you register your device via the Barryvox® app, the existing warranty period is extended by a further 3 years from the date of purchase, giving a total of 5 years’ warranty.

In the event of a warranty claim, all parts proven to have material or manufacturing defects will be replaced free of charge.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, leaking batteries, or normal wear and tear.

🚩 Important:

  • Warranty repairs do not extend the warranty period.
  • Replaced spare parts are covered by a 6-month warranty.
  • Warranty repairs are only carried out if the device is sent in together with the proof of purchase.
  • The warranty is void if the device has been opened or modified by the buyer or unauthorised third parties, or if non-original or non-recommended spare parts or accessories have been used.
  • The decision on repair, replacement or reimbursement of the purchase price rests with Mammut.
